Our Clinical Research

Endocrine Associates of West Village is currently part of multiple, large clinical trials for diabetes and weight loss via our partner NYC Research, Inc. It is part of our mission to continually contribute to current research, make advancements in the safety and efficacy of medications, and ultimately, to improve clinical care for our patients.


NYC Research, Inc is a private research center focused on clinical research and clinical trials of Endocrinology, Obesity and Nutrition. 


We strive to enroll a diverse group in our population and do not discriminate between race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.


We have two convenient locations. The first is in Long Island City in Queens - the city with the most diverse population in the world to cater to the underprivileged. This clinic boasts an in-office laboratory for blood tests needed for our research. The second is in the heart of Manhattan at 32nd St and Lexington Ave, which makes it accessible to all of the boroughs of NYC.  


We are comprised of experts in the field, passionate with patient care and advancement of medical knowledge. NYC Research, Inc is lead by the visionary Dr. Anastasios Manessis, MD, FACE, ECNU an Endocrinologist  who has published multiple works on diabetes, thyroid disease and obesity and has been a principal investigator in clinical trials of some FDA approved obesity and diabetes medications found in the market today. 
We also employ a dedicated research recruitment expert, nurse practioners, research coordinators, nurses, lab techs who come from different background and ethnicities.


NYC Research, Inc has worked with major pharmaceutical companies both foreign and US based. We have also worked with well-known Contract Reseach Organizations (CROs).
The therapeutic areas we specialize include type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, diabetic tech and devices, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic neuropathy, metabolic syndrome, lipid management, obesity, weight loss, nutrition.
