Sharon Zuniga is a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in the states of New York and Pennsylvania. Sharon is a bi-lingual (Spanish and English) Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2013 and working with Endocrine Associates of West Village PC since October 2020. She has experience working with patients with diabetes in the outpatient and inpatient setting since 2008. Sharon Zuniga was born in New York and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the City University of New York, Hunter College in New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2007. She is the recipient of a certificate of Merit for Excellence in Nursing, Department Honors Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Clinical Practice, the Spirit of Nursing Award from the Army Nurse Corps, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Dean’s List of Distinguished Students from Hunter College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science – Nurse Executive degree with Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
