Dr. Manessis is amazing! I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 40 years, and he’s the best endo I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, up to date, and an expertise in his field. My A1C of 5.8 is the best it has ever been and I owe it to him.

Always a pleasure to see Dr. M - is that possible, to actually enjoy a visit to the doctor? But he treats me (and I assume all patients) with such care and thoughtfulness and NEVER rushes our time together or gets annoyed with all the questions I ask. What doctor these days spends 30+ minutes with each patient? He clearly wants you to be informed of the best solutions related your health, physical AND mental. He is very thorough and a perfect player to be on your team concerning your well being - that is rare, and so is his staff!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience with Dr. Manessis. I am a new patient and I am so happy my wife made me come into the city from Queens to see him. Very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and immediately made me feel very comfortable. Not only was the doctor great, so was his staff. I must say there was a bit of a wait, but I guess it should be expected with such a wonderful doctor. Thanks Dr. Manessis, I look forward to my next visit.

Dr. Manessis has been my endocrinologist for about 10 years and he is the most wonderful, caring, and helpful doctor I've ever known. With his help, I went from morbid obesity (285 lbs) to a healthy weight (165-175 lb range) that I've been able to maintain for 4 years (and he saw me from pre-menopause to full menopause, about as smoothly as is possible). From day one, I had 100% support for monitoring hormonal changes/issues, nutrition, fitness training, and safe weight loss options. I'm so grateful I found him at the beginning of my journey; together we've taken many victory laps as I've achieved my health goals!
